We had a really great experience working with Art Lewis while buying our new construction home at Aero @ 3Roots. From the beginning, Art was incredibly responsive, always on top of things, and quick to respond anytime we had questions or needed advice throughout the process. Buying a home — especially new construction — can get overwhelming fast, but he helped make everything feel manageable. On top of that, he’s just a genuinely nice guy and really easy to work with.What we appreciated most was that Art genuinely looked out for our best interests. He never pressured us and gave honest guidance when it came to deciding what to buy and where to buy. It always felt like he wanted us to make the right long-term decision, not just close a deal.He also went above and beyond during negotiations. Not only did he negotiate an unbelievable amount of seller concessions for us — actually the largest amount the builder had agreed to at the time — but he was also able to get two contingencies accepted, including a contingency for the sale of our condo. From what we understand, that’s extremely difficult to pull off with new construction builders, and it made a huge difference for us.We’re really grateful we had Art in our corner and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home.

We’ve worked with Art Lewis 10 times now, and there’s a reason we keep coming back to him. At this point, he’s the first person I call whenever I’m buying or selling because I know he’ll tell me the truth, stay on top of everything, and help me make the right decision.On this last deal, Art helped me buy a rental home in Bonita. As usual, he was great throughout the whole process. He understands investment property way beyond just writing the offer. Art did an outstanding job selling our condo at Villas at Escala. Because this was a second home and we live in Northern California, we were only able to spend a short week at the condo deciding what to keep. Art handled everything else seamlessly.He arranged for remaining items to be donated or sold, coordinated repairs and deep cleaning, selected paint colors, and oversaw painting, re-carpeting, window replacement, a new closet door, and other needed updates. All we had to do was review and approve the quotes. He then staged the condo and hosted an open house.We received two offers that weekend, and the buyers bid the price above our listing. The entire process was handled smoothly by phone and email. In less than three weeks—over Thanksgiving—we went from a condo full of belongings to being on the market. I can’t say enough good things about Art Lewis. He helped me sell my condo at Bayside Downtown and then helped me buy a house in North Park, and he was excellent on both sides.The sale of my condo went smoothly, but where Art really proved his value was on the purchase. We got into escrow on the North Park house and, after taking a closer look at everything, Art advised me that we should ask for a significant price reduction. The seller wouldn’t agree to it, and instead of pushing me to move forward just to keep the deal together, Art told me I should cancel and walk away.That turned out to be the best advice I could have received. A few weeks later, we were able to come back to the same house and I bought it for nearly $100,000 less than the original deal. Yes, that much less!That experience really showed me that Art was looking out for my best interests, not just trying to close a transaction.
